Nature-based Education

In 2023, the SCRGP team has offered free nature-based education to more than 1,000 youth, adults, and families.
A Night on the Greenway is vital in providing funds to support free nature-based education programs for individuals of all ages. Your attendance will enable us to offer hands-on experiences, workshops, and guided tours that connect people with the wonders of the natural world, fostering a love for the environment and promoting lifelong learning.
Environmental Stewardship

In 2023 alone, SCRGP volunteers and stewards have removed more than 2,000 pounds of litter and 200 pounds of invasive weeds from the Greenway.
By attending ANOTG and contributing to our mission, you directly support our efforts to preserve wildlife habitats along the Greenway. These critical habitats are home to numerous species, and your support will help us protect their ecosystems and ensure their long-term survival.
Outdoor Recreation and Wellness

We believe that access to nature is essential for individual and community well-being. A Night on the Greenway helps us expand our outreach initiatives, encouraging more individuals and families to embrace outdoor recreation opportunities, promoting healthier lifestyles and creating stronger, more connected communities.
Trail Enhancements

Your support will enable us to enhance the Sand Creek Regional Greenway, making it an even better resource for our community. With funds raised from A Night on the Greenway, we will install new signs and kiosks to provide informative and engaging experiences for visitors. Additionally, we will create enhanced place-making opportunities, like new murals and additional seating, ensuring that the Greenway becomes a welcoming and vibrant space for all.
