Next Volunteer Event

August 20, 2013

Join us this Saturday, August 31st from 9am until noon at the Dahlia Trailhead (located near the intersection of 56th and Sand Creek Drive) in Commerce City.  We will be removing invasive species, doing a variety of trial improvement projects, and cleaning up trash.  We want to thank REI for their funding which supports our volunteer projects throughout the year!  REI is donating 4 very cool day packs and a tent which we will raffle off to 4 volunteers on Saturday.  Funds from REI will also pay for LUNCH for all volunteers after the event!

RSVPs are required for this event.  Please respond to Katie Lampe at klampe@sandcreekgreenway.org or 303-468-3262.  Hope to see you on Saturday!

Sand Creek Regional Greenway Partnership

About the Greenway

The Sand Creek Regional Greenway is a jewel in the necklace of trails that has made Denver a national model for linked trail systems.

This 14-mile public greenway connects the High Line Canal in Aurora, Colorado with the South Platte River Greenway in Commerce City. Along the way, it passes through northeast Denver and the new Stapleton community.

The Sand Creek Regional Greenway is open every day from dawn until dusk. Runners, walkers, nature viewers, horseback riders, and leashed dogs are encouraged to enjoy the trail. We invite you to become acquainted with our wilderness in the city.
