Become a friend of the Sand Creek Regional Greenway and support the FUTURE FUND today!

In 2020, we’re celebrating our 20th year as a 501 c 3 nonprofit, and we’re planning for another 20 years in the community. With your gift support we’re able to restore and preserve natural species along Sand Creek, promote volunteerism, provide environmental education through outreach to kids, and work on trail improvement.

Now, we’re launching the Future Fund to build and sustain our future for the Greenway. The first project of the Future Fund needs your investment–a mural depicting the rich wildlife and habitat resources of the Greenway to establish a learning and gathering place and the start of a public art destination on our trail.

The Future Fund will provide flexible resources to cover funding gaps for our education and volunteer programming, habitat restoration work, trail improvement projects and funds to sustain our organization through challenging times.

Please share your mailing address with us so we can get one of these beauties to you right away.Fair market value of the neck gaiter is $18; Tax deductible portion of a $100 gift is $82. Please consult your tax adviser with questions about deductibility.

About the Greenway

The Sand Creek Regional Greenway is a jewel in the necklace of trails that has made Denver a national model for linked trail systems.

This 14-mile public greenway connects the High Line Canal in Aurora, Colorado with the South Platte River Greenway in Commerce City. Along the way, it passes through northeast Denver and the new Stapleton community.

The Sand Creek Regional Greenway is open every day from dawn until dusk. Runners, walkers, nature viewers, horseback riders, and leashed dogs are encouraged to enjoy the trail. We invite you to become acquainted with our wilderness in the city.
